Editorial procedure

Single-blind peer review

This journal follows a single-blind reviewing procedure.

This journal also publishes special/guest-edited issues. The peer review process for these articles is the same as the peer review process of the journal in general.

Additionally, if a guest editor authors an article in their issue/collection, they will not handle the peer review process.

Manuscript Submission

Submission of a manuscript implies: that the work described has not been published before; that it is not under consideration for publication anywhere else; that its publication has been approved by all co-authors, if any, as well as by the responsible authorities – tacitly or explicitly – at the institute where the work has been carried out. The publisher will not be held legally responsible should there be any claims for compensation.

Permissions

Authors wishing to include figures, tables, or text passages that have already been published elsewhere are required to obtain permission from the copyright owner(s) for both the print and online format and to include evidence that such permission has been granted when submitting their papers. Any material received without such evidence will be assumed to originate from the authors.

INFORMATION FOR CONTRIBUTORS

【2017年03期信息】

Contributions: The Journal, Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica, is pleased to receive papers from scientists and engineers working in various aspects of solid mechanics. All contributions are subject to critical review prior to acceptance and publication.

Manuscript requirements: All manuscripts should be written in clear and grammatical English and be submitted to Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica at http://amss.hust.edu.cn.

The following requirements for manuscript are to be observed.

1. Only original papers will be considered, and the author(s) must provide assurance that the paper has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere.

2. Name, affiliation and full address of the author(s), and the mailing addresses of co-authors should be stated.

3. An abstract and key words should be included with the paper. The abstract should concisely indicate both the objectives and the results of the research, and be a complete statement in itself.

4. The maximum length of a paper is 30 pages (including equations, figures and tables). Too long manuscript will be returned to author for reduction prior to review.

5. SI units should be used throughout the manuscript.

6. All symbols should be clearly identified on the manuscript to avoid confusion in typesetting.

7. References should be completed. Preferred forms for articles in journals, books, proceedings and reports are

Note in particular that the initial and closure page numbers must be given.

8. Figures must be photographically reproducible. Line drawings, including lettering, must be clear and sharp. Each figure should be numbered.
