同行评审

所有稿件都会在12小时（工作日）内进入编辑部初审。通过初审的稿件，将进入所在领域副主编审阅，并邀请2位以上独立审稿人进行双盲评审。1～2月内作者可以收到根据外审专家意见形成的决审结果。优秀稿件将在2周内收到决审意见。

若您的稿件已经通过了同类刊的评审，请在投稿时说明，并附审稿意见和修改说明。本刊将快速处理，一般2周内向作者提供决审意见。

语言编辑

请进行语言编辑，特别是当英语不是您的第一语言时，可以确保您的论文学术内容可以被编辑和审稿人充分理解。备注：编辑后的稿件将仍需进行同行评审。

出版道德

作者应遵守出版道德委员会（COPE）规定的出版道德最高标准。数据伪造或造假、剽窃，包括未经正确引用就再次发表自己的已版作品以及盗用、一稿多投都是不可接受的。任何违反道德的行为，一经发现，都被被严肃对待，并根据出版道德委员会指导方针进行处理。

第三方版权

如果作者需要复制一篇文章中的任何第三方材料（包括表格、数据或图像），务必获得版权所有者许可，并遵守版权所有者对这种二次使用所提出的任何要求。

明确期刊的印刷和在线版本使用许可非常重要，由于我们需要将这些期刊文章加入我们的在线期刊库，所以我们不接受权限受到时间限制的文章。

开放获取

所有《清洁能源》发表的内容都可以在线免费获取。

作者可以对文章进行创作共用署名非商业许可（Creative Commons Attribution Non-Commercial Licence，CC-BY-NC)对文章授权。CC-BY-NC开放获取不收费。

CrossCheck

本刊全部投稿都将通过CrossCheck进行检测，以积极协助作者防止学术和专业抄袭。确保所有投向本刊的稿件是未经发表的原始稿件。

稿件格式

（1）请在第一页上写明论文标题、作者姓名及相关作者地址（包括电子邮件地址）。如果有多个通讯作者，请与编辑部门沟通指定一人为通讯作者；

（2）建议摘要最长不超过250字，避免在摘要中使用文献或缩写；

（3）表格和图表应附有图例。请使用常见图片格式（如pdf，eps，gif，tif或jpg）。文章在经作者修改后，提交最后修改版本时，应将文中全部图表（以足够分辨率）单独保存，另行从系统中上传，以便编辑加工，论文应当提交可编辑格式（即非PDF）;

（4）在线发表文章可将视频插入文章中。视频请采用MP4格式。如果您不希望文章中出现任何补充视频，则您可将这些视频作为补充数据上传。

（5）论文提交时可将参考文献以任何可读格式进行格式化，作者务必保证参考文献的准确性;

（6）文章末尾需包含致谢并注明经费来源的详细信息；如需帮助，请咨询您的经费资助机构;

（7） 请在首次出现时注明非标准缩写，并按顺序对图和表格进行编号。

校样审核

所有稿件经过编辑加工后，作者将收到需对文章校样进行审核的通知邮件，通过邮件中的链接，作者可以从我们的在线系统获得论文的PDF校样。请根据附带的校稿说明对文章进行审核并上传。备注：请仅对文章进行必要的修订。

优先出版

被《清洁能源》录用的稿件，编辑部在收到作者的修改稿并审核无误后，将即时提交编辑加工流程。在收到作者审核后的校样并进行必要修订后，稿件将即时上线，优先出版。出版地址：academic.oup.com/ce。之后，优先出版的章将被定期编辑成册，在线整期发布。

中文翻译

《清洁能源》全部来稿以英文版为主，同时为便于国内读者阅读和使用，将在期刊中文网页提供全部文章的中文译文。中文网址：www.journalcleanenergy.com.

Instructions to Authors

Aims and scope

Clean

Energy is an open access, peer-reviewed international journal, and

serves as an important medium to present the latest research

developments and knowledge on topics related to clean energy. The

Journal will provide a high-profile platform for scientists, academic

researchers, engineers and industrial professionals to publish papers of

the highest quality and significance in all areas of clean energy.

All manuscripts will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will immediately appear online followed by a printed hard copy.

We are interested in:

The journal covers most areas of energy, including but not limited to:

Submission

All

manuscripts are submitted and reviewed via the journal’s ScholarOne

page. New authors should create an account prior to submitting a

manuscript for consideration. Questions about submitting to the journal

should be sent to the Executive Editor-in-Chief, Constance Senior (connie@conniesenior.com).

Peer Review

All

submissions to the journal are first reviewed by an editor. At this

stage manuscripts may be rejected without peer review if it is felt that

they are not of high enough quality or not relevant to the journal.

This fast rejection process means that authors are given a quick

decision and do not need to wait for the review process. Manuscripts

that are not instantly rejected are sent out for peer review, to at

least two independent reviewers. Based on the feedback from these

reviewers and the Editors’ judgment a decision is given on the

manuscript. The average time from submission to first decision is 6

weeks.

If a paper is not acceptable in its original form, we will pass on suggestions for revisions to the author.

In

the case of manuscripts in which one of the authors is a member of the

editorial staff of the journal, that editor will be blinded from

reviewing or making decisions on the manuscript, and this will be

acknowledged in the conflict of interest statement of the published

paper.

Language Editing Pre-Submission

Language

editing, particularly if English is not your first language, can be

used to ensure that the academic content of your paper is fully

understood by the journal editors and reviewers. Please note that edited

manuscripts will still need to undergo peer-review by the journal.

Ethics

Authors

should observe high standards with respect to publication ethics as set

out by the Commission on Publication Ethics (COPE). Falsification or

fabrication of data, plagiarism, including duplicate publication of the

authors’ own work without proper citation, and misappropriation of the

work are all unacceptable practices. Any cases of ethical misconduct are

treated very seriously and will be dealt with in accordance with the

COPE guidelines.

Third-party copyright

In

order to reproduce any third-party material, including tables, figures,

or images, in an article authors must obtain permission from the

copyright holder and be compliant with any requirements the copyright

holder may have pertaining to this reuse. When seeking to reproduce any

kind of third- party material authors should request the following:

non-exclusive rights to reproduce the material in the specified article

and journal;

print and electronic rights, preferably for use in any form or medium;

the right to use the material for the life of the work; and

world-wide English-language rights.

It

is particularly important to clear permission for use in both the print

and online versions of the journal, and we are not able to accept

permissions which carry a time limit because we retain journal articles

as part of our online journal archive.

Conflict of interest

Oxford

University Press requires declaration of any conflict of interest upon

submission online. If the manuscript is published, conflict of interest

information will be communicated in a statement in the published paper.

Open Access

Clean

Energy is a fully open access journal, and all articles are published

in the journal under an open access licence immediately upon

publication. Clean Energy does not currently charge for open access.

CC BY, CC BY-NC licence - £0 / $0 / €0

If

the corresponding author is based in one of the countries included in

our Developing Countries Initiative, your article will be eligible for a

full waiver of the open access charge.

OUP

has a growing number of Read and Publish agreements with institutions

and consortia which provide funding for open access publishing. This

means authors from participating institutions can publish open access,

and the institution may pay the charge. Find out if your institution is

Data Policy

The journal encourages all authors, where ethically possible, to publicly release all data underlying any published paper.

Crosscheck

The

Clean Energy editorial team reserves the right to use CrossCheck.

CrossCheck is an initiative started by CrossRef to help its members

actively engage in efforts to prevent scholarly and professional

plagiarism. By submitting your manuscript to the journal, it is

understood that this it is an original manuscript and is unpublished

work and is not under consideration elsewhere. Plagiarism, including

duplicate publication of the author’s own work, in whole or in part

without proper citation is not tolerated by the journal.
